Benjamin Hanson, Sports Reporter
Benjamin Hanson is a senior at Marquette studying journalism. The Minneapolis, Minnesota native has been a part of the Marquette Wire as a sports reporter since his freshman year. He’s been to New York City to report on the men’s basketball Big East Tournament the year Marquette won it all, has called radio for multiple sports and helped write for almost every Marquette athletics beat. Outside of the Wire, Ben has interned with WCCO in creative services and WISN as a sports/news reporter, the top news stations in Minnesota and Wisconsin respectively. Ben aims to tell stories that nobody else can tell and give readers insight they would have never known otherwise—he finds it a privilege.
