Prabal Gurung for Target

    Target has recently revealed that come Valentine’s Day 2013 elite fashion designer, Prabal Gurung, will debut his limited-edition clothing line across the nation.

    Thought Missioni for Target was big? Prabal Gurung for Target will be even bigger. Born in Singapore, but raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, Gurung launched his first collection in February 2009 and has been a fashion force to be reckoned with since (prabalgurung.com). He began his design career in New Delhi, but later finished his studies at Parsons The New School for Design. After school Gurung went on to work for Cynthia Rowley’s design and production teams, then became design director at Bill Blass for five years before launching his own line, PRABAL GURUNG (prabalgurung.com).

    Gurung’s designs are focused on quality and innovation with emphasis on luxury, style and glamor. It’s no wonder why Target wanted him to create a limited-edition line set to hit stores February 2013. Enthusiastic shoppers can find anything from dresses, mixed-media skirts, edgy blazers and shoes as well as jewelry and handbags.
