So what exactly is the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, aside from one of the years most fashion forward daytime events? For those of you who don’t know, Veuve Clicquot is both a champagne house in Reims, France and a delicious premium brand of champagne. This is the third year they’ve sponsored the Polo Classic, a fundraising event, which was inspired by the Epic Polo Match of 1922 in New Delhi.
This year’s event was held in LA on October 6 where the trendy Rachel Zoe and hunky Argentinian polo player Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras co-hosted the celebration. Other star-studded attendees included Lauren Conrad, Minnie Driver, Ellen Pompeo, Selma Blair and Ashley Greene all donning chic casual wear for the daytime affair.
