The theme for this month’s Reel is black and white photography! This style of photography challenges photographers to capture images with dramatic contrast which is highlighted through the use of only two colors. It can create an eerie look to photos or it can accentuate lights and darks. The Marquette Wire Photo Desk hopes these photos give you a quick study break in the midst of finals season and allows you to unwind.

Keifer Russell is a junior from Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin studying digital media and public relations and is a Staff Photographer of the Marquette Wire for the 2023-2024 school year. Outside of the Wire he enjoys rock climbing, photography (figures), as well as finding and listening to new music. He is very excited to further refine his photographic content over the next year
