Whole Nine Yards: Week 15 Rankings

Whole+Nine+Yards%3A++Week+15+Rankings

QB rankings:

  1. Peyton Manning (Broncos) vs. San Diego – Manning torched the Chargers in San Diego and is on pace to break Tom Brady’s single-season touchdown pass record of 50 with 45 already and three games to play.
  2. Nick Foles (Eagles) at Minnesota – The snow slowed down Foles a bit in the first half last week, but he still ran and threw for a score and should find less adverse conditions under the dome in Minnesota.
  3. Drew Brees (Saints) at St. Louis – The stats may not show that the Saints as a team are worse on the road, but they do show that Brees throws 13 fewer touchdowns on the road this season. St. Louis should provide essentially a home game however as they also play in a dome.
  4. Matt Ryan (Falcons) vs. Washington – The bitter Green Bay cold seemed to allow Ryan to get back on track, and a favorable matchup with the 27th ranked pass defense of Washington should allow that trend to continue.
  5. Cam Newton (Panthers) vs. New York Jets – The Jets have given up 15 passing TD’s on the road as opposed to nine at home, and Newton was on fire leading up to his rough matchup last week with the Saints.
  6. Tony Romo (Cowboys) vs. Green Bay
  7. Phillip Rivers (Chargers) at Denver
  8. Andrew Luck (Colts) vs. Houston
  9. Matthew Stafford (Lions) vs. Baltimore
  10. Russell Wilson (Seahawks) at New York Giants
  11. Alex Smith (Chiefs) at Oakland
  12. Tom Brady (Patriots) at Miami
  13. Andy Dalton (Bengals) at Pittsburgh
  14. Jay Cutler/Josh McCown (Bears) at Cleveland
  15. Ryan Tannehill (Dolphins) vs. New England

RB rankings:

  1. Jamaal Charles (Chiefs) at Oakland – Five touchdowns in the last three weeks and Charles scored two in the last meeting with the Raiders so he is as safe a bet as there is.
  2. LeSean McCoy (Eagles) at Minnesota – His performance in heavy snow was the stuff of legend and with much easier footing in the dome he could possibly repeat but in any event 100 total yards is all but guaranteed.
  3. DeMarco Murray (Cowboys) vs. Green Bay – Green Bay contained a mediocre Falcons rushing attack last week but a repeat is unlikely against the hard-running Murray.
  4. Alfred Morris (Redskins) at Atlanta – Atlanta has given up six 100-yard games in the last seven weeks and Morris should see increased work with Kirk Cousins starting.
  5. Matt Forte (Bears) at Cleveland – Forte has been relied upon heavily as a running and receiving option, which should continue against a tough Cleveland secondary.
  6. Marshawn Lynch (Seahawks) at New York Giants
  7. Reggie Bush (Lions) vs. Baltimore
  8. Knowshon Moreno (Broncos) vs. San Diego
  9. Eddie Lacy (Packers) at Dallas
  10. Toby Gerhart (Vikings) vs. Philadelphia
  11. Ryan Mathews (Chargers) at Denver
  12. Fred Jackson (Bills) at Jacksonville
  13. Ben Tate (Texans) at Indianapolis
  14. Rashad Jennings (Raiders) vs. Kansas City
  15. Chris Johnson (Titans) vs. Arizona

WR rankings:

  1. Josh Gordon (Browns) vs. Chicago – Gordon has recorded 776 receiving yards over the last four games, and should continue that NFL record pace against the Bears.
  2. Calvin Johnson (Lions) vs. Baltimore – Johnson got his fewest targets of the season with the heavy snow bogging down the Lions’ passing game. Should be no reason to worry at home under the Ford Field dome.
  3. Andre Johnson (Texans) at Indianapolis – Caught three first-half touchdowns against the Colts in their first meeting and assuming Case Keenum plays the entire game it could be a repeat performance.
  4. Demaryius Thomas (Broncos) vs. San Diego – With Wes Welker out and a three touchdown performance in their last meeting, Thomas is poised for another big week at home.
  5. Alshon Jeffery (Bears) at Cleveland – Brandon Marshall will likely get a heavy dose of Joe Haden, opening things up for the dynamic Jeffery.
  6. Eric Decker (Broncos) vs. San Diego
  7. DeSean Jackson (Eagles) at Minnesota
  8. Marques Colston (Saints) at St. Louis
  9. Larry Fitzgerald (Cardinals) at Tennessee
  10. A.J. Green (Bengals) at Pittsburgh
  11. Roddy White (Falcons) vs. Washington
  12. Vincent Jackson (Buccaneers) vs. San Francisco
  13. Dez Bryant (Cowboys) vs. Green Bay
  14. Pierre Garcon (Redskins) at Atlanta
  15. Brandon Marshall (Bears) at Cleveland
