Whole Nine Yards: Week 13 Rankings

Whole+Nine+Yards%3A++Week+13+Rankings

QB rankings:

  1. Cam Newton (Panthers) vs. Tampa Bay – Newton passed for two touchdowns and rushed for a third in Week 8, scoring the highest total surrendered by the Tampa Bay defense to a fantasy quarterback.
  2. Tony Romo (Cowboys) vs. Oakland – Should fair a bit better at home than he did in the windy conditions he faced in New York last week.
  3. Peyton Manning (Broncos) at Kansas City – Put together a good game in Denver two weeks ago against the Chiefs, but Kansas City is a different animal at home and Manning proved vulnerable to the cold against the Patriots.
  4. Matthew Stafford (Lions) vs. Packers – Threw for 262 yards and a touchdown without Calvin Johnson in their first meeting, and should fair a bit better at home with Green Bay’s 20th ranked pass defense.
  5. Josh McCown (Bears) at Minnesota – Coming off a season-best performance in a game the Bears trailed much of, McCown has an easier matchup this week against the 29th ranked Vikings pass defense.
  6. Philip Rivers (Chargers) vs. Cincinnati
  7. Nick Foles (Eagles) vs. Arizona
  8. Alex Smith (Chiefs) vs. Denver
  9. Andrew Luck (Colts) vs. Tennessee
  10. Andy Dalton (Bengals) at San Diego
  11. Drew Brees (Saints) at Seattle
  12. Colin Kaepernick (49ers) vs. St. Louis
  13. Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) at Baltimore
  14. EJ Manuel (Bills) vs. Atlanta
  15. Case Keenum (Texans) vs. New England

RB rankings:

  1. Matt Forte (Bears) at Minnesota – The slight hyperextension he suffered in his knee last week is a concern but he had 30 total touches for 161 yards in their first meeting in Week 2.
  2. Adrian Peterson (Vikings) vs. Chicago – Will likely be listed as questionable for the second straight week but his groin injury did not appear to bother him last week in a season-best performance of 146 yards and a touchdown.
  3. Jamaal Charles (Chiefs) vs. Denver – Charles was held to a season-low fantasy output two weeks ago in Denver, but he has scored seven of his ten touchdowns at home this season.
  4. Reggie Bush (Lions) vs. Green Bay – Green Bay allowed the combination of Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart to run all over them last week. Expect similar results with Reggie Bush and Joique Bell.
  5. LeSean McCoy (Eagles) vs. Arizona – The hamstring injury that caused him to briefly leave his breakout game against the Redskins is not an issue this week and he still put up 150 yards and two touchdowns in that game even with the injury.
  6. Chris Johnson (Titans) at Indianapolis
  7. Marshawn Lynch (Seahawks) vs. New Orleans
  8. Giovani Bernard (Bengals) at San Diego
  9. Darren McFadden (Raiders) at Dallas
  10. Eddie Lacy (Packers) at Detroit
  11. Fred Jackson (Bills) vs. Atlanta
  12. Zac Stacy (Rams) at San Francisco
  13. Danny Woodhead (Chargers) vs. Cincinnati
  14.  Frank Gore (49ers) vs. St. Louis
  15. Chris Ogbonnaya (Browns) vs. Jacksonville

WR rankings:

  1. Calvin Johnson (Lions) vs. Green Bay – Missed his first contest with Green Bay due to injury and will surely want to make up for lost time in a critical game for the division.
  2. Brandon Marshall (Bears) at Minnesota – Coming off a season high ten receptions and should be able to keep his hot streak of four touchdowns in the last four weeks going in Minnesota.
  3. Josh Gordon (Browns) vs. Jacksonville – Gordon put up 237 yards and a touchdown with two different QB’s throwing him the ball last week, with 166 of them coming from Brandon Weeden who will likely start again this week.
  4. A.J. Green (Bengals) at San Diego – Joe Haden of the Browns had his way with Green most of last week, but San Diego does not boast the same cover corners so Green should be able to get back on track this week.
  5. Dez Bryant (Cowboys) vs. Oakland – Oakland gives up quite a few touchdowns to wide receivers with eight coming in the last five games, and Romo does better at home which obviously bodes well for Bryant as well.
  6. Harry Douglas (Falcons) at Buffalo
  7. Antonio Brown (Steelers) at Baltimore
  8. DeSean Jackson (Eagles) vs. Arizona
  9. Andre Johnson (Texans) vs. New England
  10. Demaryius Thomas (Broncos) at Kansas City
  11. Victor Cruz (Giants) at Washington
  12. Pierre Garcon (Redskins) vs. New York Giants
  13. Jordy Nelson (Packers) at Detroit
  14. T.Y. Hilton (Colts) vs. Tennessee
  15. Torrey Smith (Ravens) vs. Pittsburgh
