The protest was called “A Day Without Latinos and Immigrants” and YES joined to support immigrant rights and economic power in Wisconsin. The two pieces of legislation, AB 450 and SB 533, are seen by YES as anti-immigrant. The legislation is expected to pass in Wisconsin.

MUPD detectives share details of job responsibilities

Billy Ball and Robert Krystowiak have been detectives for MUPD since its inception. They assist the department by thoroughly examining open cases – mainly burglaries, assaults and thefts.

The new majors are Bioinformatics, Data Science, Latin American Studies and Environmental Studies. The new minors are Arabic Language Studies and Culture, Latin American Studies, Environmental Studies, Culture, Health and Illness and Law & Society.

Business-focused summer study abroad programs thriving years after launch

Red Watch Band program proactively educates students on avoiding alcohol-related problems

The program trains college students in preventing and reacting to alcohol overdoses. Since Marquette’s program started in November, program facilitators trained almost 300 students from Greek Life, the Office of Residence Life and other student organizations.
