Be. You.

    Happy Monday readers!

You might refer to today’s post as a “soapbox moment.”

    It might be.

I prefer to call it a fashion “call to service.”

    Dress crazy.

    Be “that girl”

    Be. You.

I don’t think fashion is fashion if everybody is doing it.

    That’s a fad.

    Fads go out of style.

    You don’t.

    Wear clothes that don’t match.

Wear your dad’s cardigan from high school.

Dye your hair a new color.

    Put tinsel in your hair.

    Steal your guy friend’s jeans.

Wear wool socks with Mary Janes.

    Sew your own dress.

I read a quote that got me thinking:  “Fashion is a statement, not a style. Fashion does not have to be worn casually, nor outside the runway. Fashion is fit for all sizes, for all people of all ages. Fashion is an art of personal expression…”

Step outside your fashion comfort zone.

I swear it is the most liberating thing ever.
