Water problems cause ceiling tiles to fall in Marquette Place.
Water problems in the Alumni Memorial Union caused ceiling tiles to dislodge and fall in Marquette Place in the evening of Jan. 21.
MUPD responded to the scene when water began leaking onto the floor. MUPD could not be immediately reached for comment.
AMU staff is working to clean up the debris and water.
Edi Kuhn, AMU building supervisor, was on site following the incident. While employees have ideas of what possibly caused the accident, the reason has not been confirmed.
