After announcing on Tuesday December 9th, 2014 that he would leave Marquette and transfer to another program, Deonte Burton has decided to take his talents to Ames, IA to play for Fred Hoiberg and the Iowa State Cyclones. The Milwaukee, WI native is the third member of the Golden Eagles men’s basketball team to transfer from MU to ISU in the recent past. Jameel McKay (2013) and Scott Christopherson (2008) were the other transfer athletes.
