Sports Sideshow: LeBron isn’t that bad

If you ever need a cheap laugh, one place to start is the comment section of any article, blog post, etc. on any major web site.

Especially now as election season heats up, some of the people who comment on posts make you wonder how they breathe the same air as you do.

And there are some comments that make you wonder how people get access to computers in the first place.

Eric Yee, a 21-year-old from Valencia, Calif., who was just a few credits short of graduating from Yale last spring, commented last Thursday about how he’d like to kill teenagers who buy LeBron James’ new shoes.

Yee said he “could see children from where he was at and had no problem murdering them.” A moderator from ESPN notified police, who traced Yee’s comments to his home, which happens to overlook two schools, and arrested him.

I’m not a LeBron fan by any means, but a man who reportedly owns several guns and is within walking distance of two schools is flat out creepy.

The Nike LeBron X, valued at $270, will hit stores Sept. 29. Let’s hope this psycho is still in jail then.
