At 10:24 a.m., two people not affiliated with Marquette were involved in a physical confrontation in the 1600 block of West Wisconsin Avenue, which continued to the 1300 block of West Wells Street. Department of Public Safety contacted the Milwaukee Police Department, and the subjects were taken into custody.

At 3:05 p.m., a student reported that an unknown person made multiple phone calls, created fraudulent Facebook, Twitter and e-mail accounts and sent mail via the post office with the purpose of harassing the student.  The student said that he received Tweets and Facebook messages from what appeared to be himself, but turned out to be an unknown person. Information Technology Services was contacted, and the investigation is ongoing.

Nov. 16

At 12:02 a.m., a student and his guest were in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in the 1300 block of West Kilbourn Avenue and were taken into custody by MPD, cited and released.

At 12:36 a.m., a Rec Center employee reported that an unknown person removed an unattended, university owned vacuum cleaner estimated at $400 from the gymnasium.
