  • Executive Vice President Stephanie Stopka said the University Board of Trustees selected Marquette Student Government as one of the groups that will participate in a special listening session on April 8 at 7 p.m. During this session, trustees will take note of what the Senate would like to see in a new university president. The listening session, which is open for all students, will occur in Zilber Hall 025 on April 7 from 3 to 5 p.m.
  • The Senate unanimously approved allocations for the non-club sports Student Organization Allocation.
  • Senators also voted by ballot for “Senator of the Year.” According to Legislative Vice President Adam Tandez, this title is awarded to the person who has served as MUSG’s best senator for the past year. Votes will be discussed by the executive board and announced at the end of the school year.
