With three of the seven allocation periods for Marquette Student Government's Student Organization Allocations completed, SOA is on track for another good year, according to MUSG Financial Vice President and College of Business Administration senior Kori Fojtik.
SOA is a facet of MUSG that allocates money to various student organizations. So far this year SOA has allocated $60,918, which is up from $48,613.08 at this point last year.
According to Fojtik, the increase in amount allocated thus far was expected and is a result of asking club sports to apply for funding for their entire season ahead of time rather than piece by piece.
MUSG plans to release a full report of student allocations later this semester, Fojtik said.
