Vehicle pursuit ends in car crash, multiple arrests made near 12th and State Streets

Multiple suspects were taken into custody by both Milwaukee and Marquette police.

The pursuit ended in a car crash near 12th Street and State.

Milwaukee police arrested multiple suspects after a vehicle pursuit ended in a car crash near 12th and State Streets, University Spokesperson Kevin Conway told the Marquette Wire.

Following the crash, the suspects exited the car and were taken into custody by both MPD and the Marquette University Police Department.

After MUPD sent out a safety alert at 4:15 p.m., police cars surrounded Aurora Sinai Medical Center and the university’s Wells Street parking structure.

Another safety alert was sent at 4:35 p.m. reporting that the situation was resolved and that there was no threat to campus.
