The Marquette College Democrats and Republicans jointly endorsed the Zack Wallace and Aliya Manjee ticket for 2015 Marquette Student Government president and executive vice presidential election.

“It is with great confidence that the Marquette University College Democrats and the Marquette University College Republicans endorse Zack Wallace for President and Aliya Manjee for Executive-Vice President for the 2015 (MUSG),” the groups said in a press release, Wednesday.

The endorsement comes the day before the MUSG election, which will take place from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 26. Students can vote online or in person in AMU 2nd floor lobby from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The bipartisan Wallace/Manjee ticket offers the Marquette student body the indispensable, strong leadership necessary to advocate for the entire student body’s concerns,” the groups said in the press release. “Legislative-Vice President Wallace’s and President Pro Tempore Manjee’s exemplary assistance with student organization’s concerns and tackling of campus issues, such as community engagement and fiscal responsibility, have greatly benefited the entire Marquette community.”
