Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Liz Cooper & the Stampede are a three-piece unit that make breathtaking ambient-rock tunes. They’ve been riding a wave of exposure since releasing their first Audiotree session in October of 2016. With a full-length album yet to be released, the session has served as a proving ground for the success and marketability their sound can have. A year’s worth of touring and another session for Audiotree down, the 2017 Audiotree Music Festival was a fitting way to bring things full circle. When Marquette Radio got a chance to sit down with them in-between festival sets (they played the main stage Saturday afternoon and closed the after-party that same night), we learned a lot. From the dangers of hot tea in a club to the fear of haunted cameras, check out the interview and get to know Liz Cooper & the Stampede.
