Marquette University President Michael Lovell and men’s basketball senior forward Theo John reacted to the hiring of Shaka Smart as the next head coach Friday afternoon outside the Al McGuire Center.
Athletic Director Bill Scholl told the Marquette Wire that he will give an official comment on the hiring Monday during a press conference. A comment from Smart is expected then as well.
