At 7:08 a.m., a university employee reported that an unknown person had removed secured, unattended university property from Raynor Library. The loss is estimated at $1,000. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.

Jan. 17

At 3:58 p.m., it was reported that a person not affiliated with the university was trespassing in Gesu Church. An MPD citation was issued.

At 4:07 p.m., a student reported that an unknown person removed property from her unsecured, unattended vehicle in the 1600 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. The property had an estimated value of $50.

At 4:41 p.m., it was reported that a person not affiliated with the university attempted to remove property from a business in Campus Town. Department of Public Safety officers detained the suspect and he was taken into custody by MPD.

At 11:53 p.m., an unknown person vandalized a hallway wall in Cobeen Hall by putting graffiti on it. The damage is estimated at $20. Facilities Services was contacted.

Jan. 18

At 12:14 p.m., a student reported that an unknown person removed personal property from his secured, unattended residence in the 900 block of North 15th Street. The loss is estimated at $870. MPD assistance was requested.
