President Michael Lovell, Coach Steve Wojciechowski, Sendik’s owner Ted Balistreri, Marquette University Student President Sara Manjee and MUSG Vice President Dan Brophy handed out free breakfast sandwiches at Sendiks this morning for the first day of classes.

The 400 breakfast sandwiches distributed were donated by Sendiks.

“Students here are awesome, and we are happy to treat them to breakfast on their first day of school,” Balistreri said.

Lovell said the students seem grateful for a warm sandwich on the first day of classes.

“I just wanted to welcome (students) to a new semester and make sure they are aware of this great resource we have on campus, Sendiks,” Lovell said.
