Marquette will host 2019 prospects Samuell Williamson and Seth Lundy for unofficial visits this week, a source told the Marquette Wire Monday afternoon.
Williamson, whom 247Sports ranks 58th in his class, will visit campus with his mother Tuesday. Marquette is hardly the only high-major program to offer a scholarship to the 6-foot-6 guard. Kansas, Florida, Louisville, Ohio State and Texas are among schools to give him a scholarship offer.
Williamson has recently gone on unofficial visits to Texas A&M and Oklahoma, per 247Sports. Recruits can take as many unofficial visits as they like.
Lundy, a fellow 6-foot-6 guard, will visit campus Wednesday. 247Sports ranks the Philadelphia product 105th in his class and fourth among recruits in Pennsylvania. He holds offers from Marquette, Louisville, UConn, Oregon and other college basketball mainstays.
The visits come in the final two weeks of the current quiet period. After July 5, recruits will not have another chance to visit campus until August.
Head coach Steve Wojciechowski’s staff also offered a scholarship to 2020 guard Caleb Love on Monday. Love is 91st in 247Sports’ rankings and holds offers from Xavier, Florida and Illinois, among others. Marquette was one of the first schools to verbally contact Love after telephone contact became unrestricted last Friday, per multiple media reports.
