Another legend finds his way into one of Marquette’s most prestigious club. Dr. Lloyd Walton was honored on Friday Night, joined by family and friends. He is one of 7 members for the 2016 class. Walton played under Coach Al McGuire from 1972-1976 where he was a key factor that led Marquette to an NCAA title matchup in 1974. The Warriors lost to North Carolina State but Walton went on to the NBA. Walton is still actively involved in Basketball, mentoring young NBA players and serving as an inspirational speaker.
