A parking lot and four apartment buildings around West Wisconsin Avenue and 21st Street were sold for $6.85 million, according to an article from the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The buildings contain a total of 126 apartments, mostly rented by Marquette students, that include the addresses 601 N. 20th St., 611 N. 20th St., 727 N. 21st St., 734-754 N. 22nd St. and 2101 W. Wells St.

They were sold by Richard Wiegand, a Milwaukee developer and near west side booster. Wiegand is known for restoring West Wisconsin Avenue’s Ambassador Hotel.
