The summer before freshman year is big; saying goodbye to high school friends mingling with the pre-college jitters. Marquee caught these freshman moving into their new lives in McCormick, Cobbeen and Carpenter Halls to ask what songs, movies, concerts and T.V. they enjoyed this summer while not busy reminicing with friends, obsessing over roomate selections or preparing to join the ranks of Marquette.
Popular choices were attending Lollapalooza, streaming hours of TV on Netflix and listening to the summer’s catchiest tracks. With entertainment picks like these, it seems like the newbies are going to fit in just fine.
