Hey, you guys like Brett Favre? If you’re anything like me, you can’t get enough of the irrelevant rumors and speculation about the future of his playing career. Hanging outside his house, random airports and training facilities is the sole reason Rachel Nichols has a job.

So, yeah, here’s another story about Brett Favre.

Last week, out of the kindness of his sponsor’s heart, the quarterback gave out a pair of Wrangler jeans to each of his Minnesota teammates, probably because Favre’s got an entire warehouse full of them and he just doesn’t know what to do with them.

“I need to break them in a little bit, they are kind of stiff,” said probably the only person they could get to comment on it, punter Chris Kluwe.

The generous gift has once again raised speculation as to whether the future Hall-of-Famer will come back for a 20th season. For some reason. Because nothing says commitment like name-brand denim. In actuality, it was retribution for Favre leaving his pants on the ground in overtime against New Orleans.
