It seems a cheap tactic to goad people into the Christmas spirit (see unfettered consumerism) using Mariah Carey’s dramatized carols and some premature tinsel. Sure, who doesn’t need a little more of Bing Crosby’s crooning in their lives? But businesses beware: Keep this up and you may become the marketers who cried “Jingle Bells”.
