Art has always been one of my passions, as well as fashion.  I love seeing art, creating art, being around art, and wearing art.  To me, art and fashion go hand in hand.  According to Dictionary.com, art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form.  This pretty much means anyone can create art and wear art, whether you think you are capable or not.  Art is your own interpretation and personal taste of what you think is appealing and beautiful, which is what fashion is meant to be.  Art and fashion can both be interpreted in various ways and most of the time there’s no right or wrong, it’s how you personally view the art or style, which is the amazing thing about the two.  Designers often get inspiration from artists and artwork, while artists are often times inspired by designers and street fashion.  Here are some outfits I put together that were inspired by portraits I found.  If you’re ever feeling uninspired or bored with your wardrobe, look to art for your inspiration.  Trust me, looking at art will instigate some serious creativity for any wardrobe in no time.
