At 5:00 p.m., a guest reported that, between 1:30 and 3:45 p.m., an unknown person(s) forcibly entered his secured, unattended vehicle in the 500 block of North 17th Street and removed property estimated at $220. Damage to the vehicle is unknown at this time. Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.
Feb. 25
At 1:44 a.m., Department of Public Safety officers approached a female student who appeared to be intoxicated and in need of assistance in the 1600 block of West Wells Street. Upon asking for identification, the officers discovered she was in possession of a false Louisiana driver’s license. The false ID was confiscated.
Feb. 26
At 12:47 p.m., a person not affiliated with Marquette reported that, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:47 p.m., an unknown person(s) vandalized his secured, unattended vehicle in the 16th Street Parking Structure, causing an estimated $500 in damage. MPD will be contacted.
Feb. 27
At 2:23 a.m., a male student was found trespassing on the Abbottsford Hall rooftop. DPS officers arrived on the scene and discovered the student gained access through an unsecured window. After the officers said they smelled something strange, the student admitted to smoking on the roof with two other students. He produced a pill bottle with a green, leafy substance from his front pocket and a glass pipe that was on the stairwell.
MPD arrived on the scene and searched the student’s room where a butterfly knife, two folding knives, and sixteen 16-oz cans of beer were confiscated. The student was taken into custody for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
At 2:59 a.m., a female student reported that at 1:30 a.m., she was grabbed and pushed to the ground by her boyfriend not affiliated with Marquette in the parking lot of the Ambassador Hotel in the 2300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. DPS arrived on the scene and discovered that the student was not injured. MPD took the subject into custody.
