Provost John Pauly named Robert Bishop as the next dean of the College of Engineering today. Bishop, chair of the engineering, aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics department at the University of Texas at Austin, will replace current Engineering Dean Stan Jaskolski, who announced in August his plan to retire at the end of this academic year, according to university news briefs.
