The Super Bowl has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t babble about it some more! Here are some of the pluses and minuses from the couch on Sunday:

Plus: Denny’s TV Commercials. These were the best of a seriously weak effort from advertisers this year, which is saying something. Chickens screaming. Simple and hilarious. Bonus points for the chicken screaming in outer space.

Minus: The Who’s Halftime Show. My stepmom put it best: “They look like a washed-up The Who cover band.” Did they ever.

Plus: Manningface.com. Got some great new material. Go ahead, check it out.

Minus: Dwight Howard and LeBron James Recreate Famous Bird/Jordan H.O.R.S.E. McDonald’s Ad: Howard says, “No jump shots.” No kidding. This one would be over with a trip to the free throw line.

Plus: Drew Brees’ Parenting Skills – Okay, you’ve just won the Super Bowl. It’s the culmination of years and years of hard work, being an underdog, etc. It’s craziness. And yet you STILL have the presence of mind to put noise-reducing earmuffs on your child. Bravo, sir. Someone just made the cover of Parenting Weekly.
