Coordinators Nikki Tud, Irish Diwa and Kristin Feliz have been planning the fundraiser since last spring.
Feliz, a junior in the College of Business Administration, said the show includes seven segments: vintage, casual non-dance, modern 1, modern 2, cultural, career and sleepwear.
More than 100 students will model, dance and perform skits to showcase these clothing styles and raise money for Penfield Children's Center in Milwaukee, Feliz said.
Last year, the group raised about $10,000 to go toward building a village in the Phillipines. The group selects a different charity each year.
Tud, a junior in the College of Health Sciences, said the group wanted to give back to Milwaukee when it chose a charity this year, so Penfield was an obvious choice.
"We knew we definitely wanted it to have something to do with kids," Tud said. "This year we really wanted to bring it back to its roots."
Tud said clothing was donated by local clothing stores, including Boston Store at Mayfair, Delia's and Fred.
Coordinators held tryouts for the segments in the second week of school, and placed students in groups based on skill and preference, Tud said.
Lealo Lechoco, a sophomore in the College of Health Sciences, is choreographing the sleepwear segment and is a master of ceremonies for the event.
"Last year I was in the sleepwear segment, and I wanted to take more responsibility and be more involved with the show," Lechoco said.
The sleepwear segment started rehearsing in late September, and meets one or two times a week for one hour to practice, Lechoco said.
Tud said there are additional fundraising events at the show, including a silent auction. The auction features a basketball signed by former Marquette and Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Tony Smith, and a basketball signed by the current men's basketball team.
The Fall Fashion Show will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union ballrooms. Tickets are $8, and will be on sale in the AMU this week, and will also be available at the door Saturday. A group of 10 or more can get tickets for $6 each.
Feliz said BSO hasn't set a fundraising goal for the event.
"We haven't really set a limit on anything we want to accomplish," Feliz said.
