Freshmen Rachael Hush and Christina Ruiz won their opening round doubles match 8-5 over Fadzal Masiyazi and Sarah Meghoufel of Indiana State. However, they were the only Marquette representatives to advance past the first round of the main draw.

In singles, Hush fell to Marisa Lambropoulos of Illinois, while senior Erin Watkins and sophomore Kylie Moore lost to Angela DiPastina of Ohio State and Vanessa Frankowski of Eastern Michigan, respectively.

The tandem of Moore and Watkins fell to Joanna Craven and Stephanie Wooten of Purdue in the first round of doubles.
