The Marquette women's soccer team tied both of its road matches over the weekend. The Golden Eagles allowed a goal in the final 11 seconds of regulation play Friday night en route to a 2-2 draw with Louisville. Sunday, Marquette tied Cincinnati 1-1 but outshot the Bearcats 33-12.
Senior forward Allison Mallams scored all three goals for the Golden Eagles during their two weekend matches. The goals were the first for Mallams since the end of last year. She missed the first half of this season with a head injury.
Marquette remains in third place in the American Division of the Big East standings. The Golden Eagles take on West Virginia, which is tied for first place in the division, in Morgantown this Sunday.
