At 6 p.m., a 41-year-old male not affiliated with Marquette took $20 out of the hand of a 41-year-old male customer standing at the cashier counter of Jimmy John's. Jimmy John's reported the incident at 6:02 p.m. The Department of Public Safety assisted the Milwaukee Police Department in detaining the suspect, and he was cited for theft.
At 7:15 p.m., a 21-year-old male and a 22-year-old male were found in possession of alcohol at a soccer game at Valley Fields. A clear 32-ounce bottle of liquor was found in the sweatshirt of one of the students. DPS took the bottle and dumped out its contents. Both students were escorted from the game.
Oct. 13
At 2:08 p.m., it was reported that a male student used a Marquette ID that did not belong to him to enter the Helfaer Tennis Stadium and Recreation Center. The student tried to enter the facility at 2:02 p.m. The student is now banned from all Marquette recreation facilities.
At 4:51 a.m., a 22-year-old male student was found in possession of a small bag containing about half an ounce of a green, leafy substance in his pants pocket. MPD was on regular patrol when officers noticed the student in the rear of a residence in the 1900 block of West Kilbourn Avenue. The student was cited for possession.
