At 1:41 p.m., a university staff member reported that a 53-year-old female student and her spouse were acting in a disorderly manner, being verbally disruptive, during academic meetings at Emory Clark Nursing.
At 1:52 p.m., a 19-year-old student witnessed a 43-year-old male subject not affiliated with the university as he used bolt cutters to remove a secured and unattended bicycle from the outside of Carpenter Tower.,”Mar. 31

At 1:52 p.m. a 19-year-old student witnessed a 43-year-old man not affiliated with the university use bolt cutters to remove a secured and unattended bicycle from outside Carpenter Tower. The student notified DPS officers, who caught the subject on camera moving northbound on 11th Street and westbound on Wells Street. The officers caught the subject at the intersection of 16th and Wells Streets. The subject admitted to stealing the bicycle and still had the bolt cutters in his possession. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted. The subject was taken into custody and cited for theft.
At 4:06 p.m. an 18-year-old female student reported that an unknown person removed a light-colored Casio wristwatch from a package belonging to her in the mailroom of Cobeen Hall. DPS officers reviewed surveillance video from the mailroom camera and determined that no one had tampered with the package there. The estimated loss is $130.
