Van Sickle outplayed 26 other All-Americans to win the 34th Annual Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic last Tuesday at El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Texas.

Down 6 strokes heading into his last round, Van Sickle shot an 8-under-par 63 to grab a share of the top spot on the leaderboard.

He then defeated Oklahoma State's Trent Leon on the sixth playoff hole to clinch top honors at one of the most prestigious tournaments in college golf.

Van Sickle finished with a three-round total of 207 (74-70-63).

This was the fourth victory for Van Sickle in six collegiate events this season and a school-record 10th win as a Golden Eagle. It's the third time this season that he has come from behind to win.

Tiger Woods won this tournament in 1995 as a student-athlete at Stanford.
