At 2:49 p.m., a 21-year-old female student reported that an unidentified suspect stole her purse in Westowne Mall. The student was sitting next to her purse and backpack when the suspect grabbed her purse and fled the scene. The victim's property was estimated at $121. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.

At 3 p.m., a 19-year-old male student was found to be in possession of a false identification card in McCormick Hall. DPS was responding to a noise complaint in the student's room because of students screaming out the window of their residence. The card was found and confiscated.
