We are at a crossroads as a university, and the decisions made over the next year will dictate Marquette's foreseeable future.
The Stellpflug-Guenther ticket presents the best opportunity to move our campus forward and allow students the opportunity to maximize their college experience.
We don't need more stale talk – we need action. Our race is about YOU, and with this in mind, we are ready to make Marquette the best it can be.
Qualifications
We are both active in areas that touch every corner of campus. As a leader in Marquette Student Government, Sara has worked tirelessly to address the issues concerning students and provide positive results.
Her major accomplishments include serving as the Student Life Committee Chair for two years along with experience on the Budget and Student Organization Allocation Commitees.
Her understanding of the inner workings of MUSG will allow us to immediately begin work on the issues facing campus.
Dan is equally qualified and has held leadership positions in numerous student organizations. He is also active in many community service efforts.
The executive vice president monitors the Student Organization Allocation process, and his background in business makes him the perfect candidate for bringing its overdue reform.
His unique contacts and fresh perspective will ensure that all students are reflected in important decisions.
Communication
We love Marquette, but we can do better. The most important task that we will face is effectively representing you, so communication and MUSG openness are central to our campaign.
We will take a proactive approach by going out into the Marquette community and talking directly to students about their ideas and concerns. All students have opinions – you just need to be asked.
Doing this will naturally allow us to address the other issues affecting our campus such as improving recreational facilities, using both short-term and long-term approaches; safety – especially improving the efficiency of the LIMO system; space – organizational and recreational; and encouraging better programs and entertainment that reflect the various tastes and preferences of Marquette students, to name a few.
Reserve Fund
Very importantly, students deserve a plan for their reserve fund money. We have had enough talk on the issue – it's time for action.
If you are going to pay into the fund, you should benefit from its use. Enhancing workout facilities and providing the use of community service vans to students without transportation are just two of many ideas for how the money can be used.
Moving Marquette forward
Our slogan perfectly summarizes our efforts. We are Real People – just like you – and can relate to your concerns. We are ready to bring the Real Change needed to move Marquette forward.
Our purpose is simple: to provide you with the best opportunity to enjoy Marquette and grow as an individual, meanwhile taking advantage of the resources that are available.
We love Marquette, but . it's time for a change. If you are serious about taking Marquette to the next level, vote for Sara and Dan.
We understand the issues affecting our campus and have outlined a plan for action. Visit www.sara-dan07.com for full details.
