Charles Grade, a former consultant to Marquette's Counseling Center, changed his defense counsel at a motion hearing at the Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon.
Michael Steinle will now represent Grade, who has been charged with three felony counts of sexual exploitation by a therapist.
Steinle is replacing Kathleen Stilling.
In Tuesday's hearing, Grade's new defense made a motion to have one of Grade's bail conditions lifted.
This condition stipulates that, given the nature of Grade's accusations, a third party is required to be present when Grade is in session with his patients.
Steinle is requesting that the third party supervision be limited to his female patients only.
A motion hearing has been set for Friday morning to review the request.
Grade had no comment regarding the case.
