• We learned that the Office of the Registrar sends care packages, including the copies of the Tribune, to Marquette students serving our country overseas (there are currently three). We'd like to show our support for all our Marquette troops and veterans as well as thank the Office of the Registrar.
• Yea for Marquette Student Government's focus on good entertainment like "The Departed" at the Varsity and the AE Comedy Contest. Now if we could just get rid of Late Night…

• The media's fixation on whether Barack Obama's "black enough" – which distracts from the bigger question: "Is Dubya cowboy enough?"
• Three students were treated for frostbite. No word yet on casualities from the Men's Basketball team getting burned by Georgetown.
