At 7:30 a.m., a 20-year-old female student reported that an unknown person entered her unsecured, unattended 1998 Saturn in the 500 block of North 20th Street. A CD player, a CD case containing 49 CDs, a collapsible chair and a tent were removed. The estimated damage is $1,115. The Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.
Feb. 2
At 11:55 p.m., an MPD officer observed a 20-year-old male student batter a 23-year-old male student in the 1500 block of West Wells Street. The two students had a derogatory conversation in an apartment before going outside. MPD cited the 20-year-old student for battery.
Feb. 3
At 10:12 p.m., a 19-year-old female student reported that a 55-year-old man not affiliated with Marquette had approached her in the 1300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue and struck her in the face with a closed fist on Feb. 2 at approximately 3:30 p.m. MPD was contacted Feb. 2 and took the man, who appeared to be mentally unstable, into custody.
Feb. 4
At 12:08 a.m., a 23-year-old-male student was observed by DPS, through camera, vandalizing an exit sign in Campus Town East. Facilities Services was contacted.
At 1:07 a.m., DPS recovered a money clip belonging to a 19-year-old male student. The money clip contained the student's MUID and a fraudulent driver's license. The student was issued a referral to meet with MPD.
At 1:47 a.m., a 20-year-old male student attempted to gain entry to Schroeder Hall. The student lives in another residence hall. Upon investigation DPS discovered the student was in possession of a fraudulent identification card. The student was issued a referral to meet with MPD.
