The latest movie at the Varsity Theatre may seem a little odd for an entertainment option, but with Mission Week just around the corner it makes perfect sense.

The Varsity is featuring the Oscar-nominated documentary "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room." This year's Mission Week theme is "Challenged to Choose: The Courage to Act," and the keynote speaker is Lynn Brewer, former Enron executive and author of "Confessions of an Enron Executive: A Whistleblower's Story."

"Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" is a well-made documentary that offers an inside look at one of the biggest business scandals in U.S. history, in which top executives from the seventh-largest company in the country walked away with more than $1 billion, leaving investors and employees with nothing.

"Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" is playing Friday at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion with director Alex Gibney. Saturday the film will be shown at 6 and 9 p.m. Admission is $2 with an MUID.
