Lake Express LLC president Ken Szallai said the company will also add food-service and souvenir counters in the Milwaukee and Muskegon terminals, new entertainment offerings for on-board video screens and top-deck seating for passengers who enjoy the feel of a 40-mph wind in their faces.
Premier-class passengers will still pay $65 one-way or $120 round-trip, plus the surcharge.
The premier-class cabin provided better seats, more tables and separate restrooms last year. But Szallai said this year they will also get express check-in, free soft drinks, one free alcoholic drink, free newspapers and a steward assigned exclusively to their cabin.
