Junior Eigis Vedrickas (0-6, 1-6), senior Troy Delmege (0-6, 4-6) and freshman Greg Sirotek (0-6, 5-7) each failed to win a game in the first set of their respective singles matches.

Delmege and Vedrickas lost the No. 1 doubles match to Alex and Lachezar Kasarov, 5-8 after Van Lieshout and freshman Brett Binkley quickly beat Mark Weining and Jordan Raemisch, 8-3.

The loss dropped Marquette to 8-8 this season.
