At 11:32 a.m., a 66-year-old visiting Jesuit priest was attacked by a 35-year-old male suspect in the 1000 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. He suffered lacerations to his nose and the left side of his face and was treated at St. Mary's Hospital and released. Department of Public Safety officers detained the suspect, and he was taken into custody by MPD for substantial battery and parole violation.
