The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, to which Dennis Ross is associated, is a spin off the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which is the strongest lobby in America supporting a foreign country. AIPAC is currently under FBI investigation for unlawfully receiving classified information from the Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin. Read 'A Long History: Israeli Espionage against the US' by Sam Husseini.
The Washington institute is the best Pro-Israeli propaganda tool because it has an "unbiased academic" veneer. Ross is Jewish, and that does not entail being pro-Israeli. However, he is overtly Zionist. Zionism is a colonial movement that started in Europe to create a "home for Jews only" in Palestine. The natives of Palestine, obviously the Palestinians, who were the majority refusing to be second class citizens, were invisible to the imperial powers.
In 1975, The United Nations passed Resolution 3379: "Zionism is a form of racism." This was also a result of Israeli relations with former apartheid South Africa, in violation of United States policy.
The Zionists hail Ross as an "impartial peace mediator" and thus to be believed blindly. His Zionist spin is evident to anyone who searches Zionist propaganda Web sites or watches "Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land."
How would we react if the Peace Mediator was a Muslim Palestinian? Akram Haniyyeh, member of the Palestinian negotiating team, describes Ross as the "unconditional champion of Israeli demands." It is obvious why the "peace process" failed. There was a process but definitely not a just peace.
Ross makes use of Israeli terms such as "security fence or barrier" instead of the illegal apartheid wall built on occupied Palestinian territories and "natural growth of settlements" rather than rapid illegal expansion of Jewish-only colonies on confiscated Palestinian lands. He cited the Pro-Israeli interpretation of UN Resolution 242 as his own, which concerns the illegal Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West bank 22 percent of historic Palestine. The other 78 percent is what is known in the United States as Israel.
His disregard of the international law, which is an Israeli-American foreign policy, was questioned and his response was "what about Israel's definition of self defense?" There is only one logical interpretation of international law.
Were the Jews coerced to make a peace deal brokered by the Nazis with the Nazis? Did the French make a historic compromise conceding 78 percent of the most fertile and strategic lands of their country, like Arafat, to their occupiers? Was the Holocaust self-defense? Was the right of armed resistance against the Nazis terrorism? Maybe yes, certainly from the Nazi perspective. The Zionists and the Nazis are not just similar they have a documented history of cooperation.
Anyone who dares to criticize the illegal Israeli occupation is automatically accused of anti-Semitism, as a desperate act of thought terrorism and censorship. By definition all southwestern Asian gentiles who also include the Arabs, are surprisingly Semites. There are Jews who oppose Zionism, not because they are self-hating leftists but because they have a conscience.
