At 10:56 p.m., a 20-year-old male not affiliated with Marquette attacked a 21-year-old male student while he was walking in the 1700 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. The student was taken to Aurora Sinai Medical Center and sustained a broken nose and lacerations on his left cheek. He was treated and released. The suspect was taken into custody by MPD for substantial battery. The attack was unprovoked.
