The Class Leadership awards were granted to one person from each class who demonstrated superior contributions to Marquette. The award recipients included Timothy Smith, a freshman in the College of Business Administration; Jason Curtis, a sophomore in the College of Arts & Sciences; Matthew Manning, a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences and Emily Rostkowski, a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences.
In a ceremony Sunday, the Division of Student Affairs honored 63 students for their outstanding contributions to the university or the Milwaukee area. The students designed and implemented programs promoting areas of diversity, peer education, recreation, community service, spiritual development and justice education and student governance.

Student organizations were also honored for their commitment to Marquette's mission. The Spirit of Marquette award was presented to Marquette University Television and the Muslim Student Association. Each organization received $300 to go toward future activities.
