Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett expects to sign a city-to-city partnership agreement with the mayor of Ningbo, a business and shipping center on China's eastern seaboard, during the visit which also includes stops in Beijing and Shanghai.

The business officials are being joined on the trip by representatives of Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seeking alliances with Chinese universities.
