A Milwaukee Police Department officer saw four 18-year-old female students possessing alcohol Friday night in the 1600 block of West Kilbourn Avenue.
The MPD officer advised the students to throw their beverages in the trash, but all four women attempted to flee the scene. Three of the women were apprehended immediately by MPD and cited for obstructing and resisting an officer, public intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.
The fourth woman was stopped later that night by a Department of Public Safety officer when she was entering McCormick Hall. The woman was taken into custody by MPD and charged with obstructing and resisting an officer, public intoxication, underage possession of alcohol and littering.
